Senior Program Analyst, currently working in USA
Sweta Basnet is a global health practitioner with research and program implementation experience. Her expertise lies in reproductive, maternal, and child health, as well as pharmaceutical supply chains. She currently works as a Senior Program Analyst for ThinkWell’s private sector program to support immunization financing and oncology projects. Prior to ThinkWell, Sweta was a Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health Specialist for USAID’s Global Health Supply Chain – Procurement and Supply Management project. There, she supported the implementation of technical activities to improve the availability of quality-assured health commodities for women and children in 15 countries. Sweta has also conducted research on respectful maternity care in Ghana to investigate how women and adolescents were treated during labor and childbirth.
Sweta holds an M.Sc. in Global Health from Georgetown University and a B.A. in Biochemistry and Spanish from Clark University.
