Sam is an experienced international development and public health business development and program management professional. He is passionate about helping purposeful and transformative organizations grow their presence and impact through external business development and internal operational effectiveness.
While at John Snow, Inc. (JSI), Sam supported the development, launching, and growth of an East Africa based affiliate to expand JSI’s consulting expertise for local partners and markets. Over the years, Sam has supported projects and proposals from funders including USAID, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, ELMA Foundation, UNFPA, William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, Grand Challenges Canada, World Bank, Gavi, and numerous private sector companies.
Sam works in ThinkWell’s Design Lab, helping to generate new business and ideas that further ThinkWell’s organizational reach and impact. He holds a BA from Franklin & Marshall College and an MPA from George Mason University.
