Program Analyst, currently working in Indonesia
Ryan is a medical doctor/policy consultant whose passion is to strengthen the health system through data-driven policymaking. During his professional life, he has asssited the government through research, advocacy, and training in the field of health economics and policy. Some of technical areas he works in include health technology assessment, national health insurance evaluation, and universal health coverage implementation in Indonesia. At ThinkWell, he works as program analyst for the USAID-funded Health Financing Activity. He also serves as a liaison for ThinkWell to the Ministry of Health of the Govt. of Indonesia.
Prior to ThinkWell, Ryan worked as a health economics researcher in Center for Health Economics and Policy Studies (CHEPS) at the School of Public Health of the University of Indonesia, and as a residential medical officer in the hospital of same university. Ryan received his MD degree from University of Padjadjaran and MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
