Technical Advisor, currently working in Uganda
Mr. Richard Ssemujju is a Ugandan public health specialist and community development professional with over 15 years of experience in community & health systems development, capacity building, management of livelihood, and community health projects. For over 12 years, he worked with well-established local and international NGOs including FHI 360, THETA Uganda, Marie Stopes International Uganda, Concern World Wide, and Living Earth Foundation (UK). Richard has vast experience in MCH/SRH programs and participatory community capacity development and accountability methodologies. He also has experience in advocacy for community engagement with central governments, CSOs, and district local governments. Richard has specialties in organization/institutional development approaches and capacity building and training for civil society agencies, government, and the private sector.
At ThinkWell, Richard Ssemujju is a technical advisor under the Strategic Purchasing for Primary Health Care (SP4PHC) in Uganda.
