Pura Angela Wee-Co

Dr. Pura Angela Wee-Co is a health policy and health systems expert. She obtained her medical degree from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine and her Masters of Science in Public Health (Health System Management) from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She is currently finishing her Masters of Arts in Health Policy through the College of Arts in Science in UP Manila. She has served in various roles in the Philippine Health System – as part of government, working in development agencies or through positions in an academic center or non-government organization. She is currently affiliated with ThinkWell to support the implementation of the newly approved UHC Law and support PhilHealth as it moves forward in attaining UHC.
