Senior Program Analyst, currently working in Mozambique
Luis Armando, MD holds professional experience in clinical care, management, and organizational matters. He has worked at all the levels of Mozambique’s Health National Service, including as a district head doctor. He has also served as a member of a local therapeutic committee and as a member of the STI and HIV Provincial Program. In addition, he served as I-TECH’s national advisor of the voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) program. These experiences have given him excellent clinical skills and capacity to lead services and projects. He also holds the ability to collaborate with the Ministry of Health, implementing partners, managers, and local leaders. At ThinkWell, he supports the ECHO project to help strengthen human resources for health.
