Medical and MNCH Specialist in Program, currently working in Indonesia
A physician by training, Edward has always been fascinated by the concept of achieving health equity through universal health coverage. His professional experience has seen him providing patient care, researching health impacts using population-level survey, and conducting program implementation. At ThinkWell, Edward works as Medical & Maternal Neonatal Child Health (MNCH) Specialist for the Strategic Purchasing for Primary Health Care project in Indonesia.Prior to joining ThinkWell, Edward worked as program manager in DAI for a MNCH program implemented in several garment factories in Java island, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, United States, where his research primarily focused on novel tobacco products. Edward received his Medical Doctor degree from Universitas Diponegoro and Master of Public Health degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
