Program Manager, currently working in Mozambique
Christopher is a fallen epidemiologist, who has been thinking about health worker training and health system strengthening since 2007, when after almost 13 years in Bangladesh, Angola, South Africa and Mozambique he realized that strengthening civil society organizations is too complicated. He has worked as curriculum developer and instructional designer, supporting Mozambican Institutions to develop and roll out curricula for both Clinical Officers and Hospital Administrators. He has also worked as an advisor to the Mozambican MOH in the area of Human Resources.
Christopher joined ThinkWell in February 2019 because after years of working to develop human resources for the Ministry of Health, he hoped to work in programs that influence their utilization and create a supportive environment for them to use their skills. He works with ThinkWell as manager of the awkwardly but accurately named “A comprehensive approach to improve performance of Human Resources for Health in Mozambique” project.
