Jennifer has extensive experience working in communications, public affairs, media relations, website management and event planning for non-profit organizations. As ThinkWell’s communications specialist, Jennifer will be managing internal and external communications, website and social media, and graphic design. Prior to ThinkWell, she worked as a senior communications manager at Research!America, a medical research and health advocacy organization. Previously, she worked at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and was a science writer for the U.S. National Science Foundation. Jennifer has spent over a decade as a freelance science writer, publishing in E the Environmental Magazine and Discover magazine, and writing copy for websites, including the American Heart Association and the National Science & Technology Medals Foundation. Jennifer holds a master’s degree in environmental science and policy from Johns Hopkins University, and a bachelor’s degree from Franklin and Marshall College.
